The Dominican Republic's 1929 clearly states  that people born on DR soil born from foreign diplomats or foreigners in transit "this applies to illegal migrants" are not Dominicans.
in 2010 clarifies this text about foreigners in transit. making sure it applies to illegal residents born from illegal parents.

Haitians are never stateless this is false. their constitution establishes that born from Haitian parents are always Haitians.

The solution to the problem in Haiti is not for everyone to move to the Dominican Republic. Without documents from their own country, they will always be illegal migrants in any country in the world.

How will they hold serious elections in that country if they do not have identity documents, official identification from their own country?

If the idea of these videos is to help Haitians in some way. Help they need desperately to rebuild their country. (Help them in their own country, help them with Haitian passports  so they can migrate normally not illegally )

This video is achieving the opposite, fomenting hatred, resentment and division within two countries.

You should be more responsible with the objectivity of the content and avoid the “dataless” inaccuracies that spread hate, division and obviously animosity  towards Dominicans.

3. People born in the national territory, --- with the exception of --- the sons and daughters of foreign members of diplomatic and consular legations, of foreigners that find themselves in transit or reside illegally in Dominican territory. 

When videos are not objective. You only open the door for greater divisions between both countries who, although they have huge differences (Cultural, Political, Economic, Sociological and above all Historical), currently live in peace as two sovereign countries, each on their side of the island. And each one with its own challenges to solve.

The solution is not, and never will, to move an entire population, millions of john doe and jane does, without official Haitian documents, to live illegally in another country. This is crazy!

Migration, legal migration is a global phenomenon and should not be condemned. If it follows the legal procedures established by each receiving country migrants would be legal. 

Let’s promote legalization at origin first. Minimally identification papers and/or a passport. Otherwise, you are inviting them to live illegally, to work as illegals, to live subject to deportation.

To promote that receiving countries break their own sovereign laws and accept millions of undocumented immigrants who cross the border illegally is an international absurdity.

Videos like  these want to promote illegality, disorder, human trafficking, inequality?

Each country has its sovereign rules on migration and especially on naturalization.

And in the Dominican Republic, like many countries, nationality is not acquired by the simple fact of being born on Dominican soil. Nor for living illegally for many years.

Illegality never generates rights. Illegality does not expire over time.

If you want to help them, don't sell them dreams of illegality.
